This paper has been prepared by the analysis of the fish stock assessment models to present a better understanding of this science in Iran, Therefore, at the begining the basics of analysis have been taken into consideration on biologic - ecologic and mathematical bases, and then the structures of stock assessment were studied on these two bases, by use of the recent sources. The success to criticise the mathematicaf aspects of this science was pined by confirming some of the important equations of this field. Then the incertainty of this science was studied and one of the essential solutions to overcome this problem, has been recognized to b the use of more efficient mathematical basics, such as chronological series, simulation, and conditional probabilities. err this regard, the 61 year information's (1927 - 1987) about Acipenser stellatus was used and the fishing forecast was done for the years 1988 to 1992 by applying mathematical methods such as fitting, interpolation. detrend, mob...

Infestation of the pearl oysters Pinctada margatifera and Pinctada fucata b the boring and fouling organisms at pearl culture farms as well as in the wild were studied in the northern coast of Persian Gulf Barnacles, spat of edible oysters and tublicuious polychaete were major fouling organisms in the pearl culture farms. In natural beds, however, sponges, algaes and ascidians were considered to b the main fouling organisms. The boring sponges, Cliona vastifica,. Clions margaritifera., CIiona carpenterl and the boring mussels, Lithophaga hantyana, Lithophaga malaccana were the most destructive boring organisms among studied species, causing considerable damage to the shells. The pearl oyster, Pincrada margaitifera farmed in The Kish island were found to be the most affected. The maximum rate of the pearl oysters was apparently related to the invasion by predators. The relationship between frequency of cleaning and growth of the pearl oysters also was investigated during this study......

In this investigation changes during a year in Serum Gonadotropin (GtH) level in Acanthopagrus latus was studied. Gonosornatic index 90 were measured at this time. Our results showed that low level of GtH associated with small amount of Gonosernatic Index in this species Oocyte maturation was related to significant increases In serum GtH with highest values observed near the time of ovulation......

The quantitative survey of Bacierioplankton In Anzali Lagoon Water (50 stations) was accomplished in a few month period with attention to physical, chemical and biological specifictions, so as to be able to use the results as the indicator for trophic quality assessment of the lagoon. During the measurment the average number of the bacterioplankton in the lagoon was 5.76 million / cm3 and the alteration range in different areas was between 4_10 and 7.69 million 1 cm3. The areas containing much planktonic and macrophytic plants or more organic compounds, had more abundant bacterioplankton. The obtained values for the bacterioplankton in this study is specifically for abundant hydrological ecosystems, and the number of the bacterioplankton shows the eutrophy of the Anzali Lagoon in compare with hydrologocal environments of the other districts, specially the temperate districts......

The karyotype of Rutilus frisii kuturn belonging to the south western basin of the Caspian Sea, was carried out by the method of white blood cells culture. The number of rnetaphasis chromosomes in this fish was determined to b 2n = 50 and the number of chromosomes arms nf=86 This karyotype consists of 8 pairs ot metareintric (m), 10 pairs of submelacentric chromosomes (sm) and 7 pairs of subtelocentric or acrocentric (8m + 15sm + 7st - a). The biggest chromosome In this subspecies is a pair of subtelocentric chromosome......
