Its stock after has been faced with pronounced depletion since 1941. The release of million of its fry have not been successful to restore its stock. A slim Iluctuation were observed in its natural stocks during last seven years in the Iranian coastal areas. In comparison to 1992-1993, catch showed a 4.4 tons Increasment in 1998-99. No pronounced increase was observed considering release of 70.46 million fry during mentioned period. Young and immature fish provide mainpart of the catch while mature individuals provided a small part of it during 1978-1979. For most rate of catch comprised by young and immature fish and the number of brood-stock fish were very small amount in the catch as in the year of 1998-1999, 20.3% of catch formed by one year old fish and 37.3% by two years old. The average length, weight and age of bream in the years of 1998-99 calculated 22.5cm , 212.2gr and 2.4 years respectively. The depletion of the stock could be attributed to the following important cases, such as non-rational catch practicing, environmental, pollution, destruction of natural spawning grounds, the existence of predatory fish for example Pike and Sheatfish in fries unloading site, and lack of necessary arrangement relevant to artificial spawning. Catch composition of mullet in Iranian coastal waters during years of 1991-1997 mainly comprised by golden grey mullet (except in 1995) and often reached more than 50% of the mullet catch during the mentioned years. Catch per unit of effort data for each beach seining time concerning golden grey mullet was calculated 93 kg fish in 1991. It reached 33 kg in 1997. This declined in catch also occured for sharpnose mullet from 78 kg in 1991 to 15 kg in 1997. One of the main factors reducing the CPUE could be attributed to higher fishing effort including the augmentation of beach siening haul number 20975 in 1991 to 42878 in 1998. The use of grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) is mainly for the production of food and control of aquatic weeds. The aims of this study were to assess the degree and duration of weed control achieved at two stocking densities (150 and 250 kg ha-1 ) and to determine the change of fish size and their survival in Kelvin River. Analysis of variance showed that both stocking densities of grass carp caused a significant (p < 0.001) reduction of aquatic weeds. Results showed that free floating and submerged weeds by their soft tissues are often regarded as amongst the palatable species than emergent and floating-leaved species. Experimental results showed that about 60% fish survival with substatial weed reduction by the end of first year after releasing. Results showed that the average weight of grass carp in both 150 and 250 kg ha-1 at l, 2, and 3 years after releasing were 930, 1680, 2350, and 840, 1550, and 2200 grams respectively. In this paper we focused on sound speed variation with depth versus physical properties of Bandar Dayer waters (NE of Farsi island and about 50 kilometers south of Delware; 28.2 N & 50.58 E) and calculation of attenuation rate. Importance of this area is for the Gulf currents, which cover this region. The results of this research show that up to 11 meters depth sound speed remain constant while depth increases and temperature decreases. After this depth sound speed decreases which is for decreasing in salinity and temperature.
