In the current study, antibacterial, anti-micro algal, anti-barnacle and antifouling activity of non-polar, semi-polar and polar extracts from three parts of the sea cucumber, Stichopus herrmanni, body (i.e. body wall, digestive tract and respiratory tree) were studied. The inhibitory activity assay of n-hexan, ethyl acetate and methanol extracts were evaluated against five bacterial strains, two microalgae species and barnacle larvae. In order to investigate the antifouling performance, the extracts were added to a resin epoxy coats and exposed in the sea water for the duration of three months. Based on Results, the ethyl acetate extract of the body wall with the lowest MIC against S. aureus (0.500 mg/ml) and I. galbana (0.125 mg/ml), and the lowest LC50 against barnacle larvae (0.061 mg/ml), showed the best inhibitory activity. After three months treatment, the coated panels containing 4% extract of ethyl acetate from body wall had the lowest final weight (189.67 ± 5.51 g) and lowest fouling cover percentage (74.76%) among all the panels (p < 0.05). Regarding the high antifouling activity of ethyl acetate extract from the body wall of the sea cucumber S. herrmanni, it is recommended as a potential natural alternative for the antifouling coats.}, keywords = {Secondary metabolites,Sea cucumber,Antifouling,Resin epoxy}, title_fa = {بررسی فعالیت آنتی‌فولینگی عصاره‌های خیار دریایی (Stichopus herrmanni) در آزمایشگاه و عملکرد آنها در پوشش‌های رزین اپوکسی در محیط دریا}, abstract_fa = {توسعه مواد آنتیفولینگ طبیعی و دوستدار محیطزیست یک جایگزین مناسب برای حل مشکل جهانی فولینگ دریایی محسوب میشود. در تحقیق حاضر فعالیت ضدباکتریایی، ضدمیکروجلبکی، ضدبارناکل و آنتیفولینگی عصارههای غیرقطبی، نیمهقطبی و قطبی سه بخش مختلف بدن (دیواره بدن، لوله گوارش و درخت تنفسی) خیاردریایی Stichopus herrmanni بررسی گردید. سنجش فعالیت مهاری عصارههای انهگزانی، اتیلاستاتی و متانولی در آزمایشگاه بر علیه پنج سویه باکتری، دو گونه میکروجلبک و لارو بارناکل آزمایش شد. جهت بررسی عملکرد آنتیفولینگی، عصارهها به پوشش رزین اپوکسی اضافه شده و به مدت سه ماه در دریا جاگذاری شدند. براساس نتایج، عصاره اتیلاستاتی دیواره بدن با کمترین غلظت مهاری (MIC) در مقابله با باکتری S. aureus (500/0 میلیگرم بر میلیلیتر) و میکروجلبک I. galbana (125/0 میلیگرم بر میلیلیتر) و کمترین غلظت کشنده متوسط (LC50)در مقابله با لارو بارناکل (061/0 میلیگرم بر میلیلیتر) دارای بهترین عملکرد بازدارندگی در بین عصاره ها بود. در پایان دوره سه ماهه آزمایش، پنل پوشش دهی شده حاوی 4% عصاره اتیلاستاتی دیواره بدن دارای کمترین وزن نهایی (51/5±67/189 گرم) و کمترین درصد پوشش فولینگ (76/74%) در بین همه پنلها بود (05/0>p ). با توجه به فعالیت آنتیفولینگی مناسب عصاره اتیلاستاتی دیواره بدن S. herrmanni، استفاده از آن به عنوان جایگزین بالقوه طبیعی در رنگهای آنتیفولینگ قابل پیشنهاد است.}, keywords_fa = {متابولیت‌های ثانویه,خیار دریایی,آنتی‌فولینگ,رزین اپوکسی}, url = {https://isfj.areeo.ac.ir/article_119540.html}, eprint = {https://isfj.areeo.ac.ir/article_119540_0d9725d18c5f667f2542dda387fdd5d2.pdf} }
