"Iranian Scientific Fisheries Journal" as one of the most reliable scientific journals in the country in terms of publishing scientific articles, has an "A" rating in the evaluation system of the publications of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. Due to the great reception of fishery science researchers in presenting scientific articles in this journal, with the decision of the publishing council of the country's fisheries science research institute, this journal has succeeded in obtaining a license from the "Policy and Planning Office of Research Affairs of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology" It was published every 2 months. Therefore, the publication months are announced in the following order: May, July, September, November, December and March. This journal always tries to provide a valuable scientific treasure for students and researchers by publishing the best articles in different fields of fisheries(see scope).

Achievements

- According to the Islamic World Scientific Publications System (ISC) ranking, the Iranian Scientific Fisheries Journal is placed in the first quarter (Q1).

Iranian Scientific Fisheries Journal was selected as "Top Magazine" by the jury of the book week headquarters of the Agricultural Research, Education and Promotion Organization in 2009.

- According to the referee points in 2016, Iranian Scientific Fisheries Journal has won the first place among the Persian language publications that are active in fisheries and aquaculture issues, with 80 points.
